My Experience of the First Trip
It has been more than a month after I appeared for AMU Entrance Exam. After the conclusion of my exam, my friends decided to go for a four-day tour to Dehradun and Mussoorie. I was little worried of asking my parents for their permission but somehow I managed to tell them and they gave me the approval to go.
Early morning I and my four other friends left our hometown. We boarded Dehradun Shatabdi at New Delhi Railway Station. My seat was just next to the coach’s door which was annoying me the most. As our journey kick-started and our destination was getting closer and closer, our enthusiasm also started rising. We didn’t want to sleep as the dream which we saw with closed eyes was finally becoming a reality. We were playing and singing all through our way. Finally, we reached Dehradun by 2 PM. From there we headed to Hotel Atithi which was 10 minutes walking distance away. After reaching, we freshened up, had lunch and took some rest after seven-eight hours of journey. It was the longest journey which I’d ever been on a train.

One of my friends had a relative in Prem Nagar who came and picked all of us from the hotel for a city tour in his white Ford Endeavour. Later we all had dinner at their house. They even bought us a delicious and beautiful welcome cake. Dehradun is famous for its bakeries. It was late night when we all left the relative house. He dropped us to our hotel.
The next day which was the second day of our tour we went to see picturesque views. There is a famous place named Maal Devta where we went for a picnic. We had great fun there, we danced, ate and played games. When the sun started to set we headed back towards the hotel.
The next day that is the third day of tour we have to leave for Mussoorie. We booked a cab that took us to the mountains. Mussoorie is known as Queen of Hills and after seeing it I was dumbstruck. It was so beautiful to watch the trees and the mountains. A slight rainfall made our journey more awesome. We all were so excited and happy. On reaching there, we planned to go to Kempty Fall. We all took a bath in the waterfall. After enjoying our day we headed back to our hotel in Dehradun
Now it was the last night of our memorable tour. Early morning we have to leave for our hometown. As we were boarding back for Delhi the one thing that was bothering me was my AMU Result 2020. When I reached home, I saw my mother waving at me with a paper. It was my result. I qualified in the exam with a good rank. I and my parents were really happy and we all celebrated my success with a great dinner.
